CARRIER ETHERNET APAC — SINGAPORE and PLEASANTON, Calif. — December 3, 2014: WebNMS, the leading provider of multi-vendor network management and IoT solutions, and HFR, Inc., a leading vendor of wired and wireless network equipment, are showcasing their Carrier Ethernet 2.0 solutions at the Carrier Ethernet APAC conference being held Dec. 3-4, 2014, in Suntec, Singapore. These solutions are the direct result of previously announced collaboration between the two companies.
At the conference, HFR will exhibit its entire product line of Carrier Ethernet switches and showcase the HA-805 10GbE Network Interface Device (NID) which has achieved MEF CE 2.0 certification. The HA-800 series of switches has integrated the WebNMS Carrier Ethernet Management Solution for end-to-end service provisioning, activation, fault management, performance management, security management and QoS management.
“Our selection of WebNMS greatly simplified the delivery of our end-to-end Carrier Ethernet service management solution,” said Peter K. Cho, vice president of HFR. “HFR is excited to highlight, at Carrier Ethernet APAC, our mobile backhaul solutions, including the unified service management, service assurance and service visualization tools that combine WebNMS solutions and our unique system architecture.”
The WebNMS Carrier Ethernet Management Solution is built upon the company’s flagship product, the WebNMS Framework. WebNMS will exhibit their complete line of products at the conference, including both those integrated by HFR as well as their new Symphony Orchestration Platform. Symphony combines unified CE and MPLS network management software with the Composer Workflow Framework for automating network operations.
With WebNMS supporting the HA-800 series, HFR’s end-to-end solution is ready to help steer service provider networks away from operational silos to unified network management. The resulting transformation will lower provider operational costs and enable a shift toward on-demand services using orchestration and automation.
“The HFR end-to-end solution exemplifies the collaborative leadership needed to help reduce provider OPEX and move toward delivering dynamic service,” said Prabhu Ramachandran, director of WebNMS. “By integrating with our solutions, HFR has delivered a complete, standards-compliant network, all managed by a unified network management platform and ready for orchestration.”
Both WebNMS and HFR will be exhibiting at the conference, targeted at updating Asian service providers with the latest information about Carrier Ethernet. The conference is collocated with SDN & NFV Asia. For more information, please visit carrierethernetapac.com.
