WebNMS Framework 5 Beta is the current major release. WebNMS Framework 5 Beta comes with an enhanced persistence framework based on Hibernate™ and Eclipse™ based Studio for project development. Developers can use this beta release for Evaluation. Following are the highlights of WebNMS Framework 5 Beta release:
WebNMS Studio based on Eclipse IDE with support for complete project life-cycle including object modeling, packaging and NAR creation wizards
Hibernate based persistence framework for object modeling, connection pooling, caching and transactions
Rich options for monitoring & managing JVM, application metrics such as rate of polling, data collection, CPU and memory usage, etc...
Support for JDK1.6, MySQL 5 and latest versions of Linux & Windows OS

Installation Note
All the help documents, release notes, known issues and limitations are also bundled with the installable.
Ensure to stop the existing MySQL server before starting the WebNMS Framework 5 Beta server or drop any existing 'WebNmsDB' database. Otherwise the server will not start properly & will cause issues.
Free Edition
Professional Edition
The free edition is a slim edition and contains all the basic features and is a fully functional network management platform with FCPS functionalities.This edition offers free developer seats.
The Professional edition, in addition to the basic features, contains advanced features like Failover, Provisioning , additional database support etc.
