Brief Description of the Tutorials
eBON Tutorial
This tutorial aims at proving the easy customizability of
WebNMS Framework, through the use of Eclipse Plugin. It helps
you to build only a sample application. In which, it adopts
a generic network device (i.e., a DSLAM Device, which supports
SNMP) as an example.This limited scope example will serve
only to illustrate what can be built on WebNMS Framework
and it is only a sub-set of the custom capabilities of WebNMS Framework. However, for many EMS applications of specific needs,
this basic example can be extended.
EMS Tutorial
This tutorial guides you through different stages of developing
an EMS that manages some SNMP Switches. It is a pre-built
tutorial; you can directly install and run the final EMS application
that is explained in the tutorial. It is recommended that
you read the "Try it Out" section in the tutorial documentation,
prior to working with the tutorial.
