public class ImagePanel

extends javax.swing.JPanel

An extended version of javax.swing.JPanel that adds support for rendering background Images. ImagePanel class supports three types of options while rendering the background images. They are : *

1. Tiled : The selected image is placed on the base panel in such a way that it covers the whole panel with as many number of
images of the given image's default size as possible.

2.Scaled : The selected image is placed in such a way that it covers the whole panel size with
image size being stretched to the size of the underlying panel.

3.Centre : The selected image is placed relatively to the center of the panel with the size
of the image being its default size.

setBackgroundImageOption

public void setBackgroundImageOption(java.lang.String name)

Sets the image option that has to be rendered in the background of this panel.

Parameters:

name - The options can be one of the following : TILED,SCALED or CENTRE

getBackgroundImageOption

public java.lang.String getBackgroundImageOption()

Returns the currently set background image option.

Returns:

String

setBackgroundImage

public void setBackgroundImage(javax.swing.ImageIcon image)

Sets the Background image that has to be rendered in the background of this Object.
