AdventNet MibBrowser is a complete SNMP MIB Browser that enables loading, browsing, and searching MIBs, walking the MIB tree, and performing all other SNMP-related functions. MibBrowser also enables viewing and operating the data available through an SNMP agent in a managed device.

Invoking MIB Browser

MIB Browser can be invoked as an application or an applet. You can invoke the MIB Browser application in one of the following ways.

1. Run MibBrowser.sh/.bat in the <Web NMS Home>/bin directory. Ensure that JAVA_HOME path is set properly before invoking MIB Browser. You can do this by editing the script/batch file.

2. MIB Browser, by default, can be viewed in both Java UI and Web Client of the Client Application. However, the Web Client does not support the following features : Menu options, Graphs, Debugging and Decoding, and SNMPv3 related features.

3. The MIB Browser can also be invoked from Web NMS Launcher-> Administrator Tools.
