In the Screen View tab of the Card Screen node, you can find a panel in the top part of the Screen (above the Draw Area). This is known as Card Screen parameter panel. In this panel the parameters such as the Number of Ports, Number of Distinct port types, Screen Size, and Card Screen Padding parameters can be provided. The image below shows the Card Screen Parameter panel snapshot.

This parameter panel is available with all the type of card screens of the project. You can use this parameter panel to set the properties for the card screens.
The number of ports components required in the Card is provided in this Field. The number of ports components (like any other bean component) specified in this field is available in the Card's Draw Area.
In this field, you have to provide the number of distinct port types. The number of distinct port types available is displayed as each node under the Card node of the Chassis tree. These port nodes are used to configure each port type in the Card.

Note: If you want to add ports to your Card, first specify the number of distinct ports you like to have. Go to respective nodes of the distinct ports in the Chassis Tree and configure the ports with appropriate Port Component Class. Finally, give the number of ports you like to have in the Card using the Number of Ports field. |
Width: By varying the card width, you can change the width of the card screen. The card width is varied only when each slot is of a different size (i.e. "Set all slots to same size" has been disabled in Shelf Screen Parameter Panel). Then, each slot can have its own width and height. Now, it is the user's responsibility to resize the card manually such that the card fits exactly in the slot.
Height: By varying the card height, you can change the height of the card screen. The card height is varied only when each slot can be of a different size i.e. "Set all slots to same size" has been disabled in Shelf Screen Parameter Panel). Then, each slot can have its own height and width. Now, it is the user's responsibility to resize the card manually such that the card fits exactly in the slot.
These padding parameters helps to give a good sizing and look for the slots in the shelf screen. You can't use this while "Set all slots to same size" check box is checked in the 'Shelf Screen Parameters' Panel. To provide the padding parameters, click Settings to invoke 'Padding Parameters' dialog (as given in the figure below),

Enter the desired space around the Card Screen, click OK to close the dialog for the Parameters to apply or Cancel to close the dialog without changes in the Padding Parameters.
You can hide the Card Screen Parameter Panel when you want to work with the Draw Area comfortably.
Setting Other Parameters

In the Chassis Project Tree, double-click the desired Card Screen node, the node becomes editable. Provide the desired Screen name and press 'Enter' key or use the Screen Properties dialog.
You can set the Background color, Background image and Background style using the Property Form. Double-click the Draw Area of the Main Screen View Tab to invoke the Property Form of the Screen. Provide these parameters in the respective fields. All the Background parameters gets reflected only at runt time.
Card Identifier

In the Card Identifier, you have to provide the Card Identifier number that you desire to provide for the present Card.
