Service Pack2 (SP 2) for WebNMS SNMP Agent Toolkit C Edition 6.0 is available for customers who have downloaded the WebNMS SNMP Agent Toolkit C Edition Version 6.0.0 and Version 6.0.1. Customers who have downloaded WebNMS SNMP Agent Toolkit C Edition Version 6.3.0 need notapply this service pack.

Instructions to apply the Service Pack

  1. Download the WebNMS AgentToolkitCEdition6_0_SP_2_0.ppm file.
  2. Start UpdateManager by running UpdateManager.bat (Windows) / UpdateManager.sh (Unix) file present in the <WebNMS/C-Agent/bin> directory.
  3. Click Install to install the patch.
  4. Specify the patch file (ppm file) with complete path or choose the same by using the Browse option.
  5. Click Finish to install the patch.
  6. This installs the Service Pack.

Enhancements

CLI
  1. Command line option for specifyingCLI Telnet IpAddress whilestarting CLI Agent.
  2. SynchronizeResourceTime() function has been added to avoid waiting for a particular command due to the delay in execution of that command.
SNMP
  1. To return the reference of the table vector, new function GetXXXTableInfo() will be generated in XXXhdlr.c file.
TL1
  1. Support for ESCAPE key in the TL1 interface which clear the current line of text.
  2. Support for rr file type in the code generation.
  3. Support for Handling Range in AID grouping
  4. Hook for including password fields in user defined TL1 input commands.
  5. Separate Queue boundary check configuration for input and output messages.
  6. Hook for configuring Prioritization of alarms in the output queue.
  7. Call back function for changing the severity of Autonomous Messages.
  8. Call back function when a new connection from manager to the agent is established.
  9. Provided custom macro using which the user can by-pass the AID Parsing provided by the toolkit and user can implement his own AID Parsing.
  10. Users can add custom values instead of the default values in RtrvNetypeAction() function available in submain.c file.
  11. Interface provided for unregistering TL1 Commands dynamically during runtime.
  12. Option to get the sessionID when the client closes the session has been done.
  13. New API function has been provided to flush the intermediate responses.
General
  1. Support for 64 bit Operating System.
  2. Support for Code Merging in config.h file.
